Week 9

The artichoke revived the next day...not sure what the deal was. My beets have poked through. The carrots are growing up well too. Both the beets and carrots will need to be thinned - anyone have any good advice on thinning them? The potatoes in the straw have brown spots on the leaves and the straw is still wet from the rain - I think they're getting moldy; but what do you do if it rains for 3 days, really?? I have what I think are 2 tomatoes growing up from last year over by the beets too. Must be from the one the gopher stole.
