Swiss Chard
I thought my swiss chard hadn't grown at all and that the spinach I planted was super weird. But today Jared and I went on a garden tour and a lady had a plant just like mine and she said it wad swiss chard. I then knew that my weird spinach wasn't that weird after all and not all swiss chard has pink/red stalks.

Corn
Today I decided to harvest all the corn and pull it out of the garden. It was hit or miss... mostly miss.
I also picked a yellow squash, a watermelon, 2 cantaloupe, some potatoes, a kohlrabi, some carrots and a bunch of tomatoes.

More Updates
The corn has been falling over. One stalk broke so I harvested the 2 ears on it. One was not formed enough yet and the other was edible but not pretty.
We still don't have another cucumber growing on that vine. I've only had a handful of beans from the 3 bushes of beans. I pulled the radishes out to dry and get seeds from it. We have several watermelon growing as well as many cantaloupe. However, one cantaloupe vine just up and died a couple of days ago. :(
The onions disappeared completely. Something must have been eating them. So today I decided to plant beets, cauliflower & broccoli in that section of the garden. While planting I did notice that there were some onions still there, they had just had their tops taken.
I harvested one yellow squash!
And here's a picture of the one butternut squash that's growing.

Update
Zuchini vines are turning to mush.
One cucumber.
Many cantaloupe are looking nice.
Found a few tomato worms but it's looking like we will get some nice tomatoes.
A few nice watermelons are growing too.
A couple of ears of corn are growing. Wish there were more.
No pumpkins or butternut squash yet, but vines are looking promising.

Tomatoes
My awesome husband just whipped up an incredible trellis this morning for our tomatoes. I transplanted a whole bunch of them. I still have a few more to do. I may have trampled some of the tender carrots in the process; hopefully they're not too badly damaged.
Kirra helped me plant cucumbers and beans today too.

More Raspberries, Blueberries & Grapes
Jared bought more raspberries, blueberries and grapes the other day so I planted them today. He also bought strawberries and some flowers, but the strawberry location is not ready yet and I'm not sure where to put the flowers (bulbs).

So Much Planting
Today I was out transplanting some things I started from seed when Kailey came out with the package of our other garden order. I honestly didn't think it was going to come, but it did! Yay!
I transplanted spinach, beets, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, onions and accidentally some swiss chard (which wasn't supposed to be transplanted until later). I also started a few additional of those from seed.
Other things I planted from seed were:
Onions, turnips, parsnips, radishes, Brussels sprouts & carrots.
I also planned another cherry tree and an apricot tree.

Freeze & Compost Pile
Monday night there was a freeze and the sweet potato plants look like they may not survive. The others fared pretty well. Tuesday Gary brought some straw and put it over the potato and cabbage plants. Snow & rain are in the forecast over the next week, so hopefully everything will survive.
Jared & Clinton moved the fence and started a compost pile.

Tomatoes & Marigolds
Today I started marigolds and tomatoes in a starter kit.
The other starters are looking great - especially the zucchini & butternut.

Apricot & Nectarine Trees
Today Gary & Jared planted apricot & nectarine trees back by the vegetable garden.

More Planting
Today Gary planted wild onions, cabbage, kohlrabi, sweet potatoes, broccoli and kale. He & Jace put some ash in the soil for nutrients. He also sprinkled some garlic husks around to ward off pests.
Clinton did some more tilling so the beds were nicer and Jared & I put string around each planting area, leaving paths for walking in between.
